I am a Northwest native, and have called Olympia home for most of my life. I seek comfort in the beauty around us, afforded by the rain, mountain ranges, forests, and bodies of water. I came to this profession by way of my own life struggles and path toward growth and wholeness. My studies began as child, exploring our connectedness to our natural world and the vulnerability that is inherent in being human and in relationship with others.
I earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree from the Evergreen State College where I focused on multicultural counseling, social justice work, and community psychology. Following that, I entered the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Antioch University Seattle and was awarded a Masters Degree in March 2016. My clinical experience has included working with a diverse adult population in a community mental health setting, and supporting street dependent and LGBTQ+ youth.
